Start with the patient's hospital number.
The app rebuilds the study workbook. Export produces the same five-sheet file — Data Entry, Codebook, Summary and all — with every record written in and the auto-calculated columns recalculated on open. Records are also held on the study server, so nothing is lost if a phone is.
1 Download the workbook
- Tap Download Excel. On the iPhone it lands in Downloads, in the Files app.
- From Files, move it to iCloud Drive or AirDrop it to the Mac.
- Open it in Excel. The teal columns and the Summary sheet fill in the moment it opens.
2 Or paste rows into a workbook you already have
- Tap Copy rows — the records go to the clipboard as tab-separated text.
- In the workbook click cell
B4, or the first empty row under your last patient, and paste. - Excel splits it into the 59 columns. .
3 Preview
Only approved devices reach the register. A new device appears here after it registers and stays locked out until you approve it. Revoking takes effect on that device within seconds.
